1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of an advance payment (30–50% of total package cost). Until then, pricing and availability are subject to change. Confirmation will be sent via WhatsApp or email.
2. Payment Terms
The balance payment is due 48 hours before the trip start date. For bookings made within 48 hours of travel, full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept UPI, bank transfer and cash.
3. Cancellation Policy
- 15+ days before departure: 90% refund of advance paid
- 8–14 days before departure: 50% refund
- 7 days or less: No refund
Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days. Cancellation charges may vary for peak season bookings (Dec–Jan, summer holidays).
4. Changes & Amendments
Changes to travel dates or itinerary requested by the customer will be accommodated subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please notify us at least 7 days before departure for any changes.
5. Inclusions & Exclusions
Package inclusions are as specified on the respective package page or in the confirmed quotation. Anything not listed is excluded. Prices quoted are per person unless otherwise stated.
6. Travel Documents
Customers are responsible for carrying valid ID proof during travel. For Rohtang Pass (Manali) and certain national parks, permit/entry fees may be applicable and are not included unless specified.
7. Force Majeure
Bagpackers is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, road blockages, natural disasters, strikes, or government orders. In such cases, we will endeavour to provide alternative arrangements.
8. Liability
Bagpackers acts as a facilitator. We are not liable for loss, injury, accident, illness or damage to property during the tour. Customers are advised to carry personal travel insurance.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi.
