After breakfast, check out of Munnar and drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha) — 4 hours through rubber plantations, coconut groves, and the backwater lowlands of Kerala. Check into your traditional Kerala houseboat (kettuvallam) at noon — a converted rice barge with wooden bedrooms, a living area, and a sun deck. Cast off and begin your cruise through the legendary Vembanad backwaters.
